Tredan Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the Tredan app ("the app") published by Loki Studios ("we", "us"). By installing or using the app you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. The app

Tredan is a strength-training coach that builds and adapts training programs from your logged performance using a deterministic on-device engine, with optional online features where available. Online Coaching is off in the current release. The app is provided for personal, non-commercial use.

2. Not medical advice

Tredan provides general fitness and informational content only. It is not medical advice and is not a substitute for consultation with a qualified healthcare or fitness professional. The app does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or condition. Resistance training carries inherent risks of injury.

• Consult a qualified professional before starting any exercise or nutrition program, especially if you have an injury, are pregnant, or have a medical condition.
• Stop exercising and seek medical attention if you experience pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, chest discomfort, or any other warning sign.
• You are solely responsible for exercising within your own limits and using safe form and appropriate equipment.

By using the app you acknowledge that you assume all risk arising from physical activity you undertake.

3. Your responsibilities

• You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter and for keeping your own backups (use Settings → Export my data).
• Optional cloud coaching requires separate consent, a qualifying entitlement, an account and a configured service. It sends the disclosed training context to our coach service and the provider identified before consent: Google (Gemini), Anthropic (Claude) or OpenAI. It does not set training loads. Service failures use the on-device coach.
• A previously configured Anthropic credential may still use the separately consented legacy coach. Any charges to that credential are governed by your agreement with Anthropic. This build does not offer new credential entry.
• You will not misuse the app, attempt to reverse-engineer it except as permitted by law, or use it in violation of any applicable law.

4. Community rules and user content

These rules apply when a separately enabled community feature makes your content visible to other people. Friends is optional, requires supported adult eligibility verification and separate sharing consent, and shows training-day counts and challenge progress. Nutrition, exercise details, weights and imported Health readings are not shared with friends. Coaching remains off. The general app is intended for people aged 16 and over; Friends and new purchases require the supported 18-or-over eligibility checks.

Zero tolerance. There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour. Accounts used for impersonation, hate or harassment, threats, sexual content, spam or fraud, promotion of self-harm, or unlawful content may have their display name reset, their profile hidden, or their account suspended or closed — without notice where the content is unlawful or presents a risk to others.

Reporting and blocking. You can report any account from its profile, and you can block any account. Blocking is immediate, works in both directions, and does not depend on the outcome of a report. We will not tell someone who reported them.

What we do about reports. Reports are stored for moderation review. Where we restrict your account or content, we will give you a statement of the reasons — what we did, what it was based on, the ground we relied on, whether the decision was automated, and how to challenge it. The app’s account-decisions area provides decision details and the appeal route. You can also contact support@tredanfitness.com about a report or restriction. The service is not an emergency-response service.

Challenging a decision. Reply to the contact address at the end of these Terms and we will reconsider. Depending on where you live you may also have the right to use an out-of-court dispute settlement body, or to go to court. Nothing here takes those rights away.

Health data and backups. Imported health readings and readiness scores are excluded from social, coach and sync payloads. A complete backup includes saved health readings. Sharing or saving it outside the app sends the file to the destination you choose; manage those copies separately.

5. Data and privacy

Your use of the app is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how data is stored on your device and the limited cases in which it leaves the device.

Accounts, purchases and deletion

Local workouts do not require an account. Where store purchasing is available, the App Store or Google Play displays the product, price, billing period and applicable subscription terms before purchase. If the store offers you an eligible seven-day monthly trial, the confirmation screen shows the trial length, exact subsequent monthly charge and renewal terms. A trial renews into the selected paid subscription unless you cancel through the store before it ends. Annual subscriptions, when offered, show the full yearly charge. Eligibility and availability vary; a trial is not guaranteed for returning customers. You can keep using the free features without starting a subscription. Local reminders, if enabled, are a convenience and do not replace managing your subscription with the store.

Delete all my data clears app-owned local data. Delete my account is a separate request for the server account and associated records. Neither action cancels a store subscription; manage subscriptions through the store where you purchased them. Saved or shared backup files outside the app are not removed by these actions. See account deletion for the in-app and email request routes. If a required provider authorization cannot complete, deletion may fail and require a retry or support assistance; do not assume an account is deleted until completion is confirmed.

6. Intellectual property

The app, its content, and its design are owned by Loki Studios and protected by applicable laws. These Terms grant you a personal, revocable, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the app in accordance with the app stores' standard terms.

7. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LOKI STUDIOS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY INJURY, LOSS OF DATA, OR LOSS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

8. Changes & termination

We may update the app and these Terms over time and will revise the "Last updated" date. We may discontinue the app or any feature. You may stop using the app at any time and remove your data via Settings → Delete all my data.

9. Your statutory rights

Nothing in these Terms removes consumer, privacy or other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded where you live. Any disclaimer or limitation applies only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
